The unit is delivered complete ready to install (mast, swivel & windsock of size reqd).
It is a weatherproof aluminium alloy mast with delrin and stainless components and a sealed bearing in the windsock swivel.
It needs no maintenance apart from new windsocks from time to time. It is really convenient to install and use on site.
These units are doing a good job and keeping people happy throughout the world in many heliport and industrial sites and in a wide range of very exposed conditions.




INSTALLATION (Depending on the base attachment you require)

Plan it so the mast will tilt down clear of obstructions, preferably using the top hinge and fix the base channel unit absolutely vertical by one of these methods.

Bolt it to an existing structure or wall, either directly or using brackets we can supply as an option to suit the offset of any parapet, etc.

Cast it into a concrete base of about .7 cubic metre, depending on the quality of your ground.

Fit the alloy mast's upper delrin bearing block to the base top holes using one of the 12M stainless bolts supplied.

Carefully slide the upper tube into the larger lower tube and bolt it securely. We have pre-drilled it to give 9-10” of upper tube buried in the lower tube.

Tap the windsock swivel bearing into the mast top with glue to secure it.

Fix the windsock's snap clip onto the stainless eye on the swivel arm end.

Raise the mast upright, it is an easy hand lift. Secure it upright with the other stainless steel 12M stainless bolt and 'nylok' safety nut.
